Skid Jam

How to play

Skid Jam is a top-down arcade racer built for a phone flat on the table and up to four thumbs around it. The whole game is one screen: the track sits in the middle, and each player’s controls live in a band on their side.

Get set, then go

Set the players, tracks, and options, then tap Start. The race opens paused with a Play button in the middle — everyone gets a thumb in place first. Tap the map to start the countdown. During a race, tapping the map again opens the pause menu.

The two schemes

Each player picks their own control scheme in setup:

The trick with both is the same: a drift redirects your speed instead of scrubbing it. Stay a little ahead of the corner and you can hold one long slide all the way through.

Race, or chase the clock

Seating

Playing across a table? Choose Face-to-face (or pick the open corner for three players) and each player’s controls — and their status chip — rotate to face them, so the game reads right from every seat.
